Pretty but need some details to improve

Decorations are quite nice. Easy access to the beach and nice pool. Restaurant in place with good food options.

Pool was so cold. I visited one year ago when it was managed by Karisma (Margarita Village) and the staff was nicer and attention was amazing. This time staff was kind of lost and were not even available at the phone many times. I had to wait 40 min to get some towels at the room. There is no coffee machine in the rooms and this was great in the past.

Never go to Holbox , it is a totally angry . The nature is beautiful but the fancy hotels don't take

The hotel staff from restaurant was great. But the front desk very bad. The beach club it doesn't exist , it is completely abandoned, nobody takes care of beach front, chairs, gardening etc.

I like the decoration of the room

Great hotel - would recommend

Great room with 2 beds in and the pool area and beach access are great. It’s a little further out but you can easily get a taxi or walk in via the beach. The view for the sunset is fab.

No full length mirror was the only issue

Is a very good place to stay Punta Cocos is beautiful, the bioluminescence is nice to visit, but this rainy season is not the best in Holbox

Nice place.... didnt like the after service

Facilities are really nice at the beach and it the beach bar seems like a nice place.. but it was closed the entire time we were there, even the weather was nice.

After our stay was impossible to contact them by phone or email to obtain our invoice- at first trial they answered Booking was responsible for it... but it was not. Then we were never able to reach them

We enjoyed our stay despiste the few inconveniences.

The property is stunning, instagram picture perfect. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are very nice and super clean. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The property has a generator which it is a must due to the frequent power outages in the island.

They did not clean the room the last day we were there despite us asking twice. They stated it was due to short staff and they were giving priority to the rooms people were checking in at. The kayaks were not available because of permits. The cabanas area seemed abandoned, there was no staff there, no music, the beach in front of the hotel was not the best, so we had to walk to Nomade and pay $50 dollars per person to use their cabanas and enjoy the beach. For the price of the hotel, they should invest in the beach area as that is the one thing people who stay there want to enjoy. They should open the little bar they have near the beach and play music offer food and maybe built a small pool there, that would attract the guests to stay there and not have to pay to go somewhere else to enjoy the beach. It has a lot of potential.

Very Good

Extremely clean, huge, beautiful site with all new buildings. Lovely sunset views. Staff very welcoming but service a little bit varied and communication a bit confused at times. Location a bit further from town but taxi was only 250 pesos so not too bad we didn't think.

We had a private plunge pool room which was lovely apart from the fact we seemed to be right next to where the kitchen porters and staff need to walk. Meaning there was a constant stream of staff walking past at eye level to our pool. Not the most private ! Food was ok but nothing compared to other spots on the island.

The facilities are amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful. the beach is private and very clean (and offers one of the best sunset spots on the island)

The location it’s perfect if you want to stay at the property, not so much if you want to explore the island (30mins walk or 15 euros taxi) to the town. The food offered could have a major improvement, specially considering the price.

design and location are exceptional. the attention to detail is outstanding. a real treat

A good hotel which could be great if they get the service right.

Nice rooms, clean and modern but still with a certain Charme

In a hotel where a night costs over 350 US-Dollars I would expect that you get as much free drinking water as you want. But no! 650ml costs 125 Pesos. It is not about the money more about the attitude and the lacking level of service I am complaining about. They do not run their beach bar. there were only 2 functioning bikes. Since bikes are a good option to get from the hotel to the city this is by far not enough bikes.

Lovely, quiet and relaxing stay.

The facility is beautiful. They are obviously still working on some of the extra facilities - such as by the beach and I expect will have more soon. The continental breakfast was good - toast and pastry, coffee, fresh juice, a small fruit cup and small yogurt with honey and granola. The pool is small but lovely, the oceanfront area is also lovely. The staff was very friendly and always trying to meet or exceed our needs. The live music some evenings was fun. In town some terrific restaurants.

They seem to still need to work out some kinks. Lots of people in the restaurant, but sometimes not organized for example. The food overall was good but not great, and the prices were resort prices. Also this island can be difficult to get around on. It's only 2km to town center and I would normally walk that - but due to dirt roads with lots of pooled water one was forced to take a taxi to and from town (or be covered in mud.)

The breakfast was bad. just only continental breakfast. You should pay additional fee if you want tto have eggs etc. Lots of mosquitoes at the beach.

Possible true gem, not only of the Island, but of the Mayan Riviera, if managed properly.

Quite secluded location on a beautiful beach peninsula of the Holbox island. Clean and deep water with gentle yet forceful tide stream along (!) the shore. Great architecture, design and outlay; both inside and outside. Good, yet requiring some training and experience, personnel.

Small choice of food and “just fine” quality. Together with quite distant location from any other option it makes it an issue. Chef should think about adding some new tastes to the menus, similar flavors in most of the dishes makes you seek alternatives even if you don’t want to leave the otherwise awesome place. Drinks shortages - sorry no white wine left today - is also a glitch. Another big issue, if you work remotely from everywhere, is 3-4 Mbps internet. It gets uncomfortably slow in the evenings even for social media browsing. The last thing, if you go to bed early or like to sleep long, you will go nuts with doors slamming! Doors does not close smooth and has no buffers to close silently, they wildly slow. The saddest thing is that despite several calls to fix this easy to make thing, management doesn’t seem to care.
